Maintenance Technician

Badger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time position with a manufacturing facility based in Neenah. This critical role requires a strong blend of both mechanical and electrical expertise, with a heavy emphasis on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and modifying Allen-Bradley PLC systems. Primary Duties:

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, dismantles machines or equipment, and replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts as necessary. Listens to unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machine. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery, replaces or repairs machine belts. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment, drills holes in walls, floors and ceilings for electrical connections. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other metal structures. Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Connects wire to motors, fixtures and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape. Cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound. Cuts out and joins parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings. Able to proficiently operate a manual mill and lathe. Construct, rebuild, and repair

Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 6:50 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field, which includes at least 3 years of relevant experience Must demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals, along with knowledge of industrial equipment, PLCs, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and strict adherence to safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout) Ability to support an on-call schedule for emergency situations
