Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment. This position requires a proactive approach to minimize downtime through emergency and scheduled maintenance while ensuring optimal equipment efficiency. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment. Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime. Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks. Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities. Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas. Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs. Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status. Essential Skills Experience in troubleshooting and repair as a Maintenance Technician. Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems. 4+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and mechanical maintenance. 3+ years of experience in preventive maintenance. Proficiency in electrical and PLC troubleshooting. Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in facilities maintenance. Skills in plumbing. Ability to perform snow removal tasks. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our facility operates in a GMP environment where safety and cleanliness are priorities. Employees are required to wear hair nets, beard nets, and non-slip safety shoes. The position operates on a 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 4:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the opportunity for overtime working 10-hour days Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month for a full 10-hour day. Pay is $28-$35hr Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Beloit, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
