Garage Door Installer Apprentice / Technician Helper (Part-Time) Q Garage Doors - Southeastern Wisconsin Q Garage Doors is a growing local garage door company based out of Southeastern Wisconsin, specializing in residential garage door and opener installation, repair, and service. We are looking for a motivated part-time employee to learn the trade and grow with the business long-term. This position is ideal for someone who: Wants to learn a skilled trade Enjoys hands-on work Takes pride in quality craftsmanship Shows up on time and works hard Is professional and good with customers Wants the opportunity to grow into a full-time technician role

Position Details Part-Time:

15-30 hours per week

Pay:

$20-$25/hour depending on experience Flexible scheduling available On-the-job training provided Based in Southeastern Wisconsin To start, you will be riding along with the owner on installs and service calls while learning: Garage door installation Garage door opener installation Spring replacement and repairs Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Customer service and professionalism on job sites Growth Opportunity As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities for: Increased hours Advancement into a lead technician role Company truck Gas card Company-provided tools Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to lift 75+ lbs Comfortable using tools and ladders Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to communicate professionally with customers Experience in construction, mechanical work, garage doors, or trades is a plus, but not required.
