Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Consistently demonstrate safety as the highest priority and perform all duties in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations Assemble equipment and weld using schematics , blueprints and written repair manuals Perform plant related repairs to keep the production process flowing as part of the maintenance team Troubleshoot, schedule and perform preventative and predictive equipment repairs Transfer materials using various mobile equipment Maintain a clean work environment Take elective cross training throughout the maintenance department Communicate with Operators, Lead Millwright, Maintenance Supervisor, Purchasing, Safety and Production Managers Record detailed maintenance work and safety requests via our work order system Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Operate welding equipment and tools , such as Stick, Mig and Tig experience preferred Proven experience as a Welder and Fitter Knowledge of different welding materials, including steel and stainless steel Machining experience is a plus Experience with equipment such as lathe, drill press, mill, etc. Strong time management Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events Knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools Good written and oral communication skills Team player who develops rapport with others, has good interpersonal skills Ability to work Overtime, weekends and after hours as needed. Ability to be on call nights and weekends as scheduled
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required 2 years general maintenance, welding or machining experience preferred Knowledge of building structure repair and machinery fabrication preferred

8 hour shift Monday to
