Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the day‑to‑day inspection, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment and utilities. Key responsibilities include completing daily inspection rounds, executing scheduled work orders, installing and testing new equipment, and diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues. This role involves working with water, steam, air, gas, electrical, refrigeration, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as interacting with PLC‑controlled process equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic may also support production operations as needed and must be knowledgeable about plant processes. The position is based on the production floor, where moderate to high noise levels and exposure to chemicals may be present. Strict adherence to safety, environmental, GMP, and quality policies is required at all times.
