Maintenance Technician - New Apartment Communities (De Pere Area) About the
Role:
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to help keep our apartment communities safe, functional, and well-maintained. In this role, you'll have a direct impact on residents' day-to-day comfort by ensuring everything runs smoothly and issues are handled quickly and professionally.
What You'll Do:
Perform general maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, and fixtures Conduct routine inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs to prepare units for new residents Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed to complete specialized work Maintain accurate records using maintenance software and communicate updates clearly Follow all safety procedures and ensure work meets applicable standards Support nearby properties and assist with special projects as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the community
What We're Looking For:
Experience in residential, apartment, or general maintenance preferred Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Comfortable using mobile apps or maintenance software Good communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Availability for on-call/emergency maintenance as needed Physically able to lift, climb, and work in various conditions Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and smartphone required
