Varies between 2:00pm-12:00am Monday-Friday, Every other Saturday required, Occasional support on Sunday as needed for major installs or contractor coordination We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with some hands-on maintenance experience who is looking to grow their skills in industrial mechanical and electrical systems. The right candidate will be reliable, proactive, and eager to learn while contributing to equipment uptime and overall production efficiency. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Fort Atkinson, WI. Entry-Level Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical and basic electrical issues to reduce downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments
  • Work with senior maintenance staff on machine repairs, installations, and equipment improvements
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Assist with mechanical components such as motors, belts, bearings, and conveyors
  • Support hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance under supervision
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
  • Follow all company safety procedures and report hazards or equipment issues promptly
  • Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic fabrication tasks as needed
Entry-Level Maintenance Tech Requirements:
  • Prior maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical experience required (entry-level acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
