6:00 AM•2:30 PM Position Overview The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal production uptime in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment Diagnose equipment issues through observation, testing, and precision measuring instruments Disassemble and repair defective equipment using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes Fabricate replacement parts using machine shop tools and basic machining techniques Adjust and align equipment to meet manufacturer and company specifications Utilize tools such as levels, plumb bobs, straightedges, and digital multimeters Coordinate with production and leadership to complete maintenance with minimal downtime Safely operate equipment including forklifts, electric carts, boom lifts, and manlifts Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience Experience with chain drives and conveyor systems Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic computer skills HVAC knowledge PLC experience (preferred) Mechanical knowledge (gearboxes, motors, belts) Experience with precision measuring and lifting devices Conveyor system experience Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge Plumbing experience Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to safely perform all job duties Benefits & Perks Our Total Rewards program includes: Medical Insurance (PPO & HDHP with HSA)•eligible within 61 days Dental & Vision Insurance Wellness Program Life Insurance Short-term & Long-term Disability Paid Vacation + 10 Paid Holidays Quarterly Performance Bonus 401(k) with up to 5.5% match Tuition Reimbursement On-site Fitness Center (Hartford & Brown Deer locations) On-site Chiropractor (Hartford only) Career Growth We offer strong career development opportunities, including individualized training plans and leadership development programs to help you grow into your next role. #LPSimilar jobs in Hartford, WI
