General Labor and Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

Lamers Bus Lines is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented General Laborer / Maintenance Technician to support our school bus and motorcoach fleet. This is a part-time, entry-level role ideal for someone interested in vehicle maintenance, diesel mechanics, or hands-on mechanical work . Hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with additional hours available for driving charter trips as needed. If you're someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants to build practical skills in fleet maintenance; this is a strong starting point with room to grow.

What You'll Do:

Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and tire rotations Assist with basic diesel and fleet maintenance tasks Complete general building and facility upkeep Handle grounds maintenance , including lawn care and snow removal Clean and maintain bus and motorcoach interiors and exteriors Train to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements (company training provided) Provide driving support as needed
