Rental Company General Maintenance

As the housing rental industry continues to grow, local rental agency is looking for a part-time to full-time skilled, trustworthy, and knowledgeable General Maintenance Technician to add to our existing team at WEC Rentals . Seeking an accountable, dependable (and experienced) person who can work with our existing technician(s) and help with small and big projects. This person should be able to work well independently, but also with 2-3 other crew members at a time. General work hours are Monday-Friday (8am-5pm), but subjected to a few weekend hours, depending on maintenance emergencies (ie. no heat, big water leak, etc.) •This is a 1099 contractor position. The demands of this role can be of high responsibility and are to be taken seriously.

GENERAL DUTIES

(not limited to): Reports to Rental Coordinator Fundamental repairs and maintenance tasks Responding to maintenance emergencies such as; plumbing problems, no-heat, lock repair, etc. Light plumbing and electrical work Snow Removal and Seasonal landscaping-yard maintenance/lawn care Overall property maintenance/upkeep of properties Help with painting Hauling large items to the dump Lay new flooring

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

•Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills•(Be able to diagnose and recommend next step) Valid driver's license with reliable transportation (Required) Vehicle or ability to haul tools and light equipment (is a plus) Own some basic tools (be responsible of them) Basic Knowledge in property maintenance Mechanically inclined (preferred) General knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing Capable of physical labor ( able to lift up to 75 lbs ) Good customer service attitude Ability to take direction and follow instructions well
