Job Description

Bethany St. Joseph Care Center is seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Van Driver / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the transportation needs of residents to and from appointments or transporting hospital admissions to the facility. This role is also responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a service-focused environment.
Van Driving Responsibilities:
Operate a facility-owned van to transport residents to and from appointments. Transport new residents to facility upon admission. Responsible for assuring the van meets all safety requirements and reporting any needed repairs. Communicate with facility via cell phone for pick-ups and changes in the driving schedule. Responsible for the completion of records regarding the transport of residents for billing purposes. Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor Transport resident lab, x-rays or other material as needed.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies Safely transport residents to medical appointments Assist residents in and out of van safely Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of transportation vehicles
Work Schedule:
