Floor Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, auto scrubbing, Stripping, refinishing, buffing and burnishing VCT floors.
• Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
• Assist with carpet cleaning, buffing, and other floor maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations

Experience:

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
• Familiarity with environmental services standards and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to successfully pass a background check. Own or have access to reliable transportation. Speak and understand English Own a cell phone (preferably a smartphone) that allows you to be contacted reliably. Comfortably lift 40 lbs without risk of injury. Should be available from 10-15 hours/week.
