    Maintenance Mechanic
  • 2 nd Shift $30-36/hr Join the team at Eck Industries , a leading aluminum foundry in Manitowoc, WI, where we produce precision aluminum castings for aerospace, defense, and other cutting-edge industries.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to ensure equipment and machinery operate safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility systems Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including control panels and production equipment Conduct routine inspections and complete general facility maintenance tasks Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and plant improvement initiatives Support machining, fabrication, and capital projects, working with internal teams and vendors Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to increase uptime and efficiency Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and communicate status updates to leadership Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas in accordance with 6S standards What We're Looking For 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a mechanical/electrical role within an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or maintenance-related training is a plus Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently Why You'll Love It Great pay
