This position is responsible for working closely with management, maintenance, and production staff to keep production equipment and plant facilities in a safe and efficient working manner. This position is responsible to complete all assigned preventative maintenance (PM) duties including schedule tasks as described in the Master Sanitation Program. This position requires that you are available for emergency call ins per schedule. Weekend hours are often worked as well as the occasional holiday. Must be able to work on own with little or no supervision and be self-motivated.Responsibilities:
Perform all schedule PMs as assigned including Master Sanitation Program tasks. Perform all necessary emergency and scheduled repairs on machines. Maintain accurate and neat record keeping as it pertains to PM's and Master Sanitation Program. Work closely with management and factory personnel to effectively schedule, source parts/supplies for and make repairs to equipment.Requirements:
Basic/Intermediate Electrical Knowledge PLC knowledge Reliable and punctualPlus:
Fabrication Tig welding (Sanitary Welding) Critical for success in this role: Willing to work with other members of the team or work alone, effective communicator, deductive reasoning, attention to detail, initiative, willingness to learn and gain knowledge about dairy industry and internal processes.Desired Qualifications:
