Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong CNC repair experience to support a high-precision Swiss machining operation. This role will focus heavily on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment while also supporting general facility and production maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues within CNC manufacturing environments — particularly Swiss-style machining equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys complex troubleshooting, working independently, and being a key contributor to production uptime. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair CNC machining equipment, including Swiss machining centers Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues Support machine uptime and production efficiency initiatives Read and interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical documentation Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and process improvements Maintain maintenance logs, PM schedules, and repair documentation Support facility maintenance as needed, including compressors, HVAC, and utilities Work closely with machinists, operators, and production leadership to minimize downtime Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience within CNC manufacturing environments Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery Swiss machining equipment experience highly preferred Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings Experience with preventative maintenance programs Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision CNC programming knowledge is a plus but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Experience Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Tornos, or similar Swiss machining equipment Servo motors and spindle repair troubleshooting PLC troubleshooting experience Machine alignment and calibration experience Manufacturing environments requiring tight tolerances and high precision A bit about us:•We are a well-established custom manufacturing operation serving a diverse mix of industrial and commercial customers across North America.
