This position is a discretionary position. This position is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment throughout the plant.Responsibilities:
Complete preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, and cylinders. Install and maintain utility equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and cooling towers. Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment. Change out and setup equipment. Complete prefabrication related tasks and run machine shop equipment. Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations. Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Able to complete all paperworkCMMS/SAP
functions. Keep all work areas clean. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. Perform any other work as assigned by management.Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently. Ability and willingness to lift with arms up to floor to waist and waist to shoulder up to 40 pounds. Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously. Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently. Ability and willingness to stand/stoop/walk/bend up to 10 hours. Ability and willingness to climb stairs. Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 10 degrees.Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).LOCATION NOT ACCEPTING REHIRES
