This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and operational excellence of our facilities through hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. You will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing processes, ensuring safety standards are met, and enhancing overall facility performance. Duties Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and systems using schematics, technical manuals, and electrical or mechanical knowledge. Conduct electrical troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve automation issues. Execute welding tasks for repairs and fabrication projects, adhering to safety standards and quality specifications. Maintain building infrastructure through residential painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC repairs, and general facilities upkeep. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs or installations of electrical or mechanical systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist in supervising maintenance teams or contractors during large projects or repairs while ensuring safety compliance. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, and troubleshooting PLCs. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or projects. Ability to communicate effectively in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Experience working with Ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics is highly desirable.
