Temp to Hire Position Overview We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure uptime and efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants flexibility in their schedule. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and machinery Perform preventative maintenance using internal PM systems Work across mechanical and electrical systems including motors, bearings, and gearboxes Inspect, test, and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime Perform basic fabrication, welding, and rigging as needed Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records Support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor Ensure a safe and clean work environment What We're Looking For 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience Strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment Experience with mechanical and electrical systems Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or motor controls preferred Exposure to PLC troubleshooting is a plus (not required) Background in metal stamping is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (team lift for heavier items) Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout an 8+ hour shift Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot, and noisy environment Why This Role Flexible scheduling options Competitive pay ($30-35/hr) Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment
