Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain our self-storage facilities in top condition. This position involves primarily outdoor work, including property inspections, minor repairs, and general upkeep of grounds and buildings. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections of all facilities (lock checks, unit status, abandoned unit cleanouts) Perform general maintenance tasks: light carpentry, painting, door repairs, lighting, etc. Troubleshoot and maintain security gates, keypad systems, and gate software/hardware Maintain facility exteriors, green spaces, and parking lots (snow removal, lawn care, trash pickup) Provide on-site support to customers as needed and assist Facility Manager with tenant issues Coordinate and communicate effectively with tenants regarding unit-related repairs Maintain and organize inventory of tools, parts, and supplies Schedule and oversee work performed by third-party vendors as needed Keep maintenance records and update digital systems (StorEdge) Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained Submit expense reports and receipts for materials/supplies Respond promptly to calls, texts, and emails during business hours; occasional after-hours work may be required Assist with company lien sales and other operational tasks as assigned Qualifications Valid Driver's License (required) Strong working knowledge of tools and power equipment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied weather conditions Strong time management and organizational skills Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Excellent communication skills (in-person and phone) Comfortable with basic computer tasks (email, reporting systems) Professional appearance and demeanor Benefits Competitive hourly wage Paid vacation and holidays Supportive team and positive work environment Opportunity to work independently and take ownership of your role Work/life balance with a consistent weekday schedule Apply today to join a team that values reliability, quality work, and great customer service!
