Job Description

Maintenance Technician Location:
Sturgeon Bay, WI Job Type:
Temp to Perm, M-TH 5:55am to 4:25pm
Reports To:
Tooling Manager-Steve Brahmstadt Join our team at Cadence Inc., where your hands-on skills help power our operations. We're looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep our buildings, equipment, and systems running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. What You'll Do:
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment Service HVAC systems: replace filters, clean ducts, and troubleshoot performance issues Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including lighting and wiring Perform plumbing repairs: fix leaks, unclog drains, and maintain fixtures Complete light carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, and furniture Paint and finish surfaces for upkeep and aesthetics Maintain outdoor areas: landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery Respond quickly to emergency repair requests Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and work orders Install and set up new equipment and ensure proper functionality Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors Provide excellent service to internal teams by addressing facility-related concerns
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in facility maintenance, building services, or similar role Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple disciplines (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic power tools Proficiency with computers and mobile devices, including: Email and communication tools Work Order Management Systems and CMMS software Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with BAS (Building Automation Systems) and maintenance software
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods Manual dexterity for working with small tools and components Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Good vision and hearing to safely identify issues and communicate in a noisy environment Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or certifications in maintenance-related trades preferred
