Electromechanical Maintenance Technicians Location:
Waupaca, Wisconsin Pay Range:
$38.00 - $48.00 / hour (Top-end reserved for
PLC & CNC
experts)
Shift Schedules:
12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Relocation assistance available if qualified. A Machining Center in Waupaca, WI is looking for skilled Electromechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our advanced facility. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, love diagnosing complex machinery, and prioritize safety above all else, we want you on our team. We work with high-end CNC dual-spindle machines, automated palletizing equipment, and Automated Guided Vehicles. What You ll Do (Principal Duties) As a core member of our maintenance team, you will ensure our advanced facility runs at peak efficiency.
Your day-to-day will include:
Preventative Maintenance & Repair:
Keep our 6 dual-spindle CNC machines, automated systems, and facility equipment running smoothly.
Troubleshooting:
Root-cause unexpected breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime.
Systems & Components:
Replace bearings, sensors, and other critical mechanical/electrical components.
Electrical Safety:
Read electrical schematics, bend conduit, and work safely with equipment voltages ranging from 120V to 24,900V.
Tech & Logistics:
Use SAP, Indusoft, and Microsoft Office to log work orders, order parts, monitor systems, and track your time.
Must-Haves:
strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a fierce commitment to safety.
PLC Troubleshooting Skills:
You must be able to troubleshoot PLCs (minor programming changes/adjustments are a huge bonus!). Ability to read electrical schematics. Flexibility to work scheduled plant shutdowns (weekends/holidays). Direct CNC maintenance experience (especially dual-spindle or palletizing equipment). Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and robotic programming. Background in welding, fabricating, plumbing, pipefitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics. High SchoolResponsibilities Maintaining a safe and organized workplace. Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on machines in a fast-paced production focused facility. Work during plant shutdowns which typically occur on weekends and holidays. Installs new equipment or moves current equipment to facilitate production efficiency. Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Work during machine center shutdowns which typically occur on off production weekends and holidays. Installs new equipment or moves current equipment to facilitate production efficiency. Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts. Orders and installs replacement parts for machines. Identifies the root causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines. Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently. Prepares reports documenting work performed. Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies. Assist outside contractors as needed for special projects. Use computers to create work orders, order parts, monitor systems, submit reports, accurately record time confirmations, and check email. Primary programs will be Microsoft office suit, Indusoft, and SAP. Perform other duties as assigned.
