Deck and pergola wood worker/builder

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Deck and Pergola Wood Worker/Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and installing custom decks and pergolas that enhance outdoor living spaces. Your expertise in carpentry, fabrication, and construction will help bring clients' visions to life with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to create durable, aesthetically pleasing outdoor structures. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood components for decks and pergolas according to blueprints, schematics, and client specifications Interpret detailed construction drawings and schematics to ensure accurate project execution Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Prepare construction sites by framing structures, installing supports, and ensuring proper foundation work including concrete forming and rebar installation Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, staining, sealing, and staining to enhance durability and appearance Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines, materials procurement, and quality control measures Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained during all phases of construction Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and woodworking projects involving decks or outdoor structures Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to carpentry projects Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques in a construction environment Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for outdoor structures including roofing, siding, stucco, and water damage restoration Background in restoration industry work such as mold remediation or structural repairs is a plus Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements and adherence to safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or installation processes Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship in outdoor construction!
