Job Description
Pool Maintenance Technician The Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative and emergency maintenance of the water park. With several projects in the works, Mt Olympus Water and Theme Park has an immediate opening for second shift Water Park Maintenance. This role is Full•Time and requires nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have valid driver's license and be able to be insured by company insurance. 1st
Shift:
7:00 AM•4:00 PM 2ndShift:
3:00 PM•11:30PM Duties and Responsibilities:
Repairing of equipment and materials Upon successful completion of training become certified pool operator Ensure the safety of guests providing a safe and fun environment at all pool locations by maintaining water quality and cleanliness. Meeting and greeting pool guests Clearing pool deck of used towels, lifejackets, trash, vacuuming pool, and water quality readings Verifying the equipment in the pump room is functioning correctly, ability to work in a loud environment Partner with Engineering/Maintenance regarding pump maintenance Enforce policies, rules and regulations of the recreation locations Power washing, cleaning, getting pools assembled to open, paintingPool Maintenance Technician Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to perform mathematical calculations as needed Must be able to understand and measure pool water quality requirements, work with chemicals to assist with upkeep of pool water and cleanliness Must be able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality Being able to complete tasks without supervision Ability to work well under pressure Must be 18 years old or older to apply Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. Must have reliable transportation Previous experience in a Recreation or Resort environment Previous pool chemist or pool technician experience,CPO Certified Pool Operator What We Offer:
