Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment and maintaining a safe working environment. Duties Install new and maintain existing production equipment Maintain fork trucks and other vehicles Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment to minimize equipment downtime while maximizing employee productivity Provide support for engineering sample development to include making samples, evaluating new processes and determining equipment requirements Conduct routine safety inspections, ensure proper guarding is in place on machines throughout the department, make guarding as necessary Contact outside resources when necessary to upgrade or replace equipment Perform preventative maintenance Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures required for production Complete Maintenance Requests in a timely and professional manner Experience Ability to use measuring devices and read blueprints Demonstrates strong problem solving and communication skills Proficient utilizing a computer Highly organized and strong project management skills Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
