Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Maintenance Technician with strong multi‑trade capabilities with a focus in electrical. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, self‑driven, and capable of performing a wide range of handyman tasks while maintaining exceptional professionalism in sensitive, customer‑facing environments. This role requires strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and elevated client‑driven safety protocols, including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and site‑specific compliance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced electrical work, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and system upgrades. Complete general facility repairs such as carpentry, minor plumbing, hardware replacement, painting, and fixture installation. Respond to service calls in secure, high‑visibility environments with exceptional professionalism and discretion. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings with accuracy and attention to detail. Follow all OSHA procedures including PPE use, electrical safety, hazard communication, and equipment operation. Apply utility‑sector‑level safety expectations, including lockout/tagout, energized work controls, and site‑specific protocols. Maintain precise service logs, work orders, and compliance documentation. Communicate effectively with facility managers, vendors, and internal supervisors. Work independently, manage time efficiently, and complete tasks without direct supervision. Assist in project pricing.
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial electrical experience. Proven ability to work independently and maintain a self‑driven, proactive work ethic. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and general building systems. Highly detail‑oriented with strong documentation and organizational habits. Familiarity with
OSHA 1910/1926
standards and safe work practices. Experience working in secure, regulated, or customer‑facing environments preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations. Ability to pass background checks, drug/alcohol screening, and client‑specific security requirements. Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with lockout/tagout procedures. Knowledge of confined space awareness and hazard identification. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and facility plans. Multi‑trade versatility (HVAC basics, plumbing, carpentry, hardware installation). Master Electrician License.
