POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the facility and equipment associated with guest rooms and public areas. This role requires working technical knowledge of building maintenance and construction trades.
LOCATION
Teton Village, WY
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide service and repairs to property equipment including electrical, plumbing, gas, fire and safety, HVAC refrigeration, and interior/exterior paint. Respond to guest calls for maintenance requests in guest rooms or public areas in a timely and professional manner. Lead and supervise the engineering team, and assign tasks in absence of the Director of Engineering. Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems. Ensure all department safety regulations are met, including security of guest room and property access. Perform all tasks using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Test, troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment. Coordinate preventative facility maintenance and repairs. Perform other duties as assigned and requested to meet the needs of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three years in a maintenance related job required. Construction trade knowledge and skill, including electrical, plumbing, painting, locksmith, and carpentry required. Flexible in schedule and willing to meet the demands of a complex operation. Experience with the safe use of hand and mechanical tools. Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. Excellent communication skills. Basic comprehension of the English language (written and verbal).
