Low Voltage Technician

Project Overview:

Mav Technologies is seeking two experienced Lead Technicians for a 9-week retail remodel in the Maricopa area. We pride ourselves on quality of work, focusing on clean cable management and precise device commissioning. This project involves a high-volume rollout of CCTV, audio, and alarm systems.

Compensation & Schedule:

Rate:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour (DOE).

Terms:

1099 Independent Contractor.

Schedule:

Approximately 40 hours/week. Night shift.

Pay Frequency:

Weekly.

Duration:

~9 weeks (Project-based).

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and aiming of IP-based CCTV cameras (150+ unit count). Termination and testing of Cat5e and security wiring. Installation of commercial alarm sensors and fire alarm notification devices. Reading floor plans and SOWs to ensure 100% compliance with project specs. Maintaining a safe, clean and professional job site in a retail environment.

Requirements:

Tools:

Must have own basic hand tools, cordless drill, and termination tools.

Equipment:

Must have experience operating a scissor lift and be able to produce certification.

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years in commercial low-voltage (specifically CCTV and Alarms).

Transport:

Reliable transportation to/from the Maricopa job site.

Mindset:

Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing standard of quality.

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
