Job Description:
Responsibilities Perform skilled, independent installation of security systems in accordance with company standards, drawings, and specifications
  • Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling with clean workmanship and proper cable management
  • Install and commission security devices including: Access control hardware and door components, IP cameras and camera infrastructure, Intrusion alarm systems and field devices, intercoms, and other specialty devices
  • Ability to perform neat door hardware and component installations with occasional assistance as needed.
  • Verify system functionality and resolve installation-level issues without supervision
  • Ensure all work is neat, labeled, aligned, sealed, tested, and fully operational prior to inspection or turnover
  • Assist the Technician IV with day-to-day jobsite execution and coordination
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job support to Technician I and II team members
  • Maintain installation pace that meets or exceeds expected timeframes without sacrificing quality
  • Accurately document work completed, time entries, and job progress in project tracking systems
  • Maintain detailed and timely records without assistance
