In this energetic role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems that power modern networks, security systems, and telecommunications infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity and reliable operation across various client sites, contributing to their safety and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service and technical support. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV, VoIP telephony, Ethernet networks, fiber optic cabling, and access control systems. Perform fiber splicing and cable management using power tools and hand tools to ensure high-quality connections. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs. Conduct network installation tasks involving Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, LAN setups, and data center hardware. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power testers; repair or replace faulty equipment as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems including telephony (Avaya), VoIP technology, and electrical wiring standards. Proficiency in computer networking concepts such as Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), network protocols, LAN/WAN configurations, and Cisco/Junos routers. Experience with fiber splicing techniques for high-speed data transmission; familiarity with fiber optic connectors and testing equipment. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately for installation and troubleshooting purposes. Skilled in the use of hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers) and power tools for cable installation and equipment setup. Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Previous experience as a service technician in low voltage systems or data center environments is highly desirable; electrical experience is a plus.
