About the Company Founded in 1985, Amsco U.S. is a well-established manufacturer specializing in wire harnesses and cable assemblies. The company serves a wide range of industries, including aviation, space, electric vehicles, automotive, appliances, lighting, and HVAC. As a trusted subcontractor, Amsco U.S. continues to expand and is seeking dedicated, long-term team members to support its growth. Position Overview We are looking for a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician / Wire Harness Specialist with experience in R&D and document control. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), cut lists, parts lists, and process specifications. You will also develop work travelers, prepare first article samples for customers, and support internal sample builds. Additional responsibilities include managing document revisions, performing reverse engineering tasks, and conducting research for components, tools, and materials. Familiarity with CAD software and wire harness design tools is highly desirable. You should be able to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership, including Sales and upper management. Qualifications Background in electronic assembly preferred Hands-on industry experience is highly valued; internship experience may also be considered Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Key Skills & Responsibilities Candidates with experience in at least 3-5 of the following areas will be strongly considered: Interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and work orders Creating wire and cable assemblies based on technical documentation Designing organized and efficient cable routing layouts Developing pegboards for wire harness assembly processes Updating or creating wire harness designs using CAD tools Preparing clear and detailed assembly instructions Using hand tools and power tools for electrical assembly work Operating and calibrating crimping, cutting, and wire stripping machines Maintaining safety standards in electrical and warehouse environments Demonstrating strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities Experience & Education Minimum 2 years of electronics assembly experience (5+ years preferred) Technical certification or equivalent hands-on experience required Bachelor's degree is a plus Additional Requirements Proficiency in technical English; Spanish is an advantage Ability to work effectively in a team environment Work Schedule & Compensation Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM
