Full-Time Position Overview WyreDreams is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Wiring Technician to join our team. This position is focused primarily on the wiring and installation portion of residential and commercial low-voltage projects. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in both new construction and existing structures and has hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling and device installation. Responsibilities Pull, route, secure, and label low-voltage cabling in residential and commercial environments Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, coaxial, speaker, and fiber optic cabling Install security cameras, network equipment, wireless access points, AV systems, access control devices, and related low-voltage equipment Mount and install TVs, speakers, racks, cameras, and other technology devices Install conduit, raceways, J-hooks, and cable support systems Read floor plans and wiring layouts Maintain clean and organized job sites Work independently and alongside lead technicians to complete projects efficiently and professionally Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of experience in low-voltage installation Experience with structured cabling in residential and commercial projects Experience installing: Security camera systems Network switches and wireless access points Audio/Video systems Access control systems Other low-voltage technologies Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic testing equipment Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and construction environments Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional appearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ubiquiti, UniFi, AV, and surveillance systems Experience working on custom residential and commercial projects Ability to work with minimal supervision Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Career growth within a growing technology company Apply Today If you have experience with low-voltage wiring, networking, security cameras, and AV installations and are looking to join a growing team, we would like to hear from you.
