Job Description

Job Summary Barrister Global Services Network is seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support structured cabling and low-voltage installation work in commercial environments. Technicians will perform cable installation, termination, testing, and documentation while following customer and site requirements. Key Responsibilities Install and route Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cabling Pull cable through ceilings, walls, and conduits Terminate cables into patch panels, keystone jacks, and RJ45 connectors Follow

standards Install cable pathways including trays, raceways, and conduits Test cabling for continuity and performance Label cable runs and maintain accurate documentation Review work orders and site diagrams before beginning work Maintain clean and organized work areas Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of cable installation experience Experience with structured cabling, termination, and testing Experience working in commercial or field environments Ability to read floor plans and network diagrams Familiarity with standard installation tools Reliable transportation Smartphone for communication and work updates Preferred Qualifications Fiber optic experience Rack and stack or data center experience Low-voltage or BICSI certification Basic networking knowledge Work Environment Projects may be performed in commercial offices, retail locations, data centers, and industrial facilities. Work may include ladder use, overhead cabling, and physical activity throughout the shift.
