Job Title:
Low Voltage Technician Job Description We are seeking three experienced Low Voltage Technicians to support multiple upcoming projects across the Front Range. The initial scope begins at the Brighton Recreation Center with the installation of outdoor wireless access points, followed by a major audiovisual and cabling project at the Boulder Civic Center and parking garage, with further cabling work at the local Police Department. Responsibilities Pull low-voltage cabling for wireless access point (WAP) installations at the Brighton Recreation Center. Install outdoor access points, with some mounted on the side of buildings and the majority on light poles. Operate lifts for installations; lift certification is a must. Coordinate with site leadership to ensure clean and professional installs. Transition to the Boulder Civic Center & Parking Garage project, performing large-scale low-voltage cabling and supporting a major AV installation. Adhere to project prints, scope, and timelines to ensure success. Conduct additional low-voltage cabling work at the Police Department in a secure and public environment, maintaining professionalism at all times. Essential Skills Prior low-voltage cabling experience is required. Comfortable and efficient working from aerial and scissor lifts. Lift certification is necessary. Experience pulling and routing cable in commercial or municipal settings. Ability to read basic prints and follow scope. Work Environment The work will take place across multiple locations: Brighton, CO, Boulder, CO, and the local Police Department. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This multi-phase project includes an initial week followed by approximately five months of subsequent work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boulder, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
