Job Description
Low Voltage Technician — Growth Track to Service Manager Respond Security inc. is hiring an experienced low voltage technician who's ready to grow into a service manager role. This isn't a "tech for life" position — we're scaling our service department and need someone who can run jobs solo now and run people later. What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, and service alarm, and CCTV systems. Work confidently on Honeywell, Qolsys IQ4, and Alarm.com platforms Talk directly to customers on-site — explain the problem, the fix, and the cost without waiting on a salesperson Document jobs clearly so dispatch and other techs aren't guessing what happened What We Need 5+ years hands-on experience with alarm and/or CCTV systems IP networking fundamentals Comfortable being the only tech on a job and making the call Valid driver's license, insurable driving record The Growth Path We're not hiring a truck-filler for the next five years. We need someone who can move into running the service department — scheduling, callback reduction, vendor relationships, and eventually managing other techs. If you're sharp in the field and good with people, this is the seat for you. 12-18 months for the right person. Pay 26-31/hour, based on experience. Pay review at 90 days. Yearly bonuses based on performance.
