Low Voltage Technician (Traveling)

Start Date:
May 18, 2026 Position Overview Seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians with a strong background in conduit installation to support network infrastructure projects across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. This role involves extensive travel and hands-on work installing structured cabling systems, routing conduit, and deploying network equipment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience bending, installing, and running conduit in commercial and industrial environments, along with a solid understanding of structured cabling systems. Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test CAT6, signal cable, and structured cabling systems Install, bend, and route conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit) in various environments Plan and execute conduit pathways in compliance with project specs and codes Perform network equipment installation and setup Assist with trenching, conduit runs, and pathway preparation Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and conduit layouts Ensure conduit installations are clean, code-compliant, and properly supported Maintain quality and safety standards on all job sites Troubleshoot installation issues including cable routing within conduit systems Collaborate with team members, project leads, and onsite contacts Travel to project locations throughout assigned coverage areas Travel Requirements Travel required: Up to 99%

Paid travel time (from departure) Company-covered lodging $50/day per diem for meals Schedule Typical hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or as needed) Required Qualifications Proven experience with low voltage cabling AND conduit installation Hands-on experience with: EMT bending and installation PVC and rigid conduit Conduit routing in commercial/industrial settings Proficiency using hand tools such as: Crimpers Punch-down tools Drills Conduit benders and related tools Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, trenching) Willingness to travel extensively Strong attention to detail and safety practices Preferred Qualifications BICSI certification (preferred but not required) Experience with structured cabling + conduit infrastructure integration Ability to work independently on conduit layout and installation Pre-Employment Requirements Background check Drug screening Work Environment Combination of commercial, industrial, and outdoor job sites Heavy emphasis on field installation, including conduit runs and cable routing Fast-paced, project-based work Team-oriented with leadership opportunities for experienced technicians #tekone
Pay:
