You will not simply be "hanging blinds." You will own the end-to-end onsite execution, configuration, and final commissioning of world-class shading architectures (such as Lutron Sivoia QS and Palladiom networks). As a Lead, you are entirely self-directed on-site, acting as the primary line of communication between the project engineering team, General Contractors, and client representatives.
Key Responsibilities Precision Installation:
Lead the installation and configuration of high-end Lutron motorized configurations (pocket-mount, surface-mount, dual-roller, and complex recessed architectures).
System Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve communication issues between shades, processors, and Pico wireless remotes.
Wiring:
Execute low-voltage wiring pathways back to central power panels with impeccable clean wire management, ensuring exact polarity compliance and proper wire gauge distribution.
Leadership:
Direct, mentor, and perform quality control audits for junior installers and helpers on-site to enforce strict brand aesthetics and compliance with absolute timeline accuracy.
Specialized Requirements Shade Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience specifically installing and commissioning high-end, intelligent automated shade systems.
Technical Literacy:
Comprehensive familiarity with Lutron HomeWorks QS ecosystems, shade programming software, and a firm grasp of low-voltage fundamentals (polarity, voltage drop metrics, bus wiring topologies).
Ultra-Luxury Environment Standards:
Proven history working inside premium residential environments with an elite standard of craftsmanship and care for high-value millwork, wall coverings, and sensitive architectural textures.
Technical Autonomy:
Ability to independently interpret Lutron shade reports, electrical schematics, and blueprint submittals without needing layout oversight. Benefits & Perks Highly competitive hourly base wage with structured overtime allocation. Dedicated pathways for advanced professional certifications and direct manufacturer training upgrades. Opportunity to deploy cutting-edge smart home technology on top-tier regional luxury builds. 401(k) & 401(k) matching Company car Health, Dental, & Vision insurance Paid time off How to Apply Send your resume to with a quick note about the systems you've worked with and a project you're proud of.
