Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lift Station Technician to join our growing team! This is a hands-on field position with a secondary focus on CCTV sewer camera inspections. We will train the correct candidate for certification on the CCTV camera system. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to work. Lift Station Responsibilities (Primary): Carry out regular maintenance of lift stations at commercial and residential sites Perform installation of lift stations and/or components at new properties, including but not limited to: pumps, piping, panels, etc. Perform any necessary repairs to maintain a fully operating lift station Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements Work carefully to follow all current regulations for lift stations to ensure passing inspections Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and fellow employees Manage a work log and keep detailed reports of work completed at various job sites Provide information regarding lift station upkeep to clients CCTV Sewer Camera Responsibilities (Secondary): Operate and maintain remotely operated robotic crawler and CCTV inspection equipment Perform thorough inspections of underground sanitary and stormwater sewer lines Coordinate and manage a field crew of 3-4 personnel efficiently and safely Identify system deficiencies and recommend effective solutions to clients and project managers Demonstrate working knowledge of sanitary and stormwater infrastructure, including pipe materials, sizes, and configurations Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings for clients Ensure all inspection equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after each use
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in residential and commercial lift station work preffered Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of sanitary and stormwater pipe systems and materials Strong attention to detail and ability to produce thorough inspection and service reports Comfortable using electronic dispatching and reporting systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lead and coordinate a small field crew Ability to work long periods outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of plumbing experience 3+ years as a service technician Previous experience operating CCTV sewer inspection equipment
NASSCO PACP/LACP/MACP
