You will install and repair alarm wiring and equipment. Safe Technologies is one of the oldest local security, surveillance & home automation companies in South Florida; serving our customers for over 25 years. We are looking for a qualified technician to install and/or assist our installers with installation projects and ultimately to be able to lead installations You must have pride in your work and be able to work independently, be responsible, professional, communicative and have a neat clean appearance. You will be working on both commercial and residential installations of Burglar & Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Surveillance and Network IP cameras, NVR's, Access Control, Home Automation, low voltage wiring, etc.

Responsibilities:
Install and program new alarm and security systems Install and program CCTV Run cabling Install and set up access control Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems Monitor inventory of service parts
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields Must know computer networking Experienced with low voltage Familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to handle physical workload Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Low Voltage Field is required
  • Must be able to climb a ladder for wire pulling
  • Able to work in attics and small spaces
  • Good knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Clean criminal history, be able to pass a background check
  • Pass a drug test.
  • Clean driving history.
  • Must have own transportation and basic tools
  • Be familiar with Networking Compensation commensurate with experience
