Originally specializing in PBX systems, we now service PBX, VoIP, Network, and Wireless systems for several of the top manufacturers in our industry. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Access Control and Network Cabling Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security and communication systems across various commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless system operation, optimal security coverage, and reliable network connectivity for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge security solutions while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Technicians MUST supply their own tools and have a minimum of two years experience in low voltage cabling and access control installation. Duties Install and configure access control systems, including electronic locks, card readers, and biometric devices Run low voltage cabling for security systems such as CCTV, sensors, alarms, and fire alarm systems and other cabling requirements Perform network wiring and ensure proper connectivity for telecommunication and data systems Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on security hardware and network infrastructure Interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams to accurately complete installations Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete construction and cabling tasks Collaborate with clients to assess site requirements and provide tailored system design solutions Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer in security or telecommunications fields Strong knowledge of low voltage cabling installation Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and sensors Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values technical excellence and proactive problem-solving.
