Immediate Openings Available Position Overview We are seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support a commercial installation project in Macon, GA. Technicians will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in commercial construction, data centers, warehouses, distribution centers, or large-scale network installations. Responsibilities Pull, route, label, dress, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling Install cable pathways including ladder rack, J-hooks, innerduct, and cable tray systems Install and mount network equipment, switches, servers, and PDUs within server racks Perform cable testing, troubleshooting, and certification Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and network schematics Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all site safety requirements and security procedures Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms as needed Required Qualifications 3+ years of structured cabling or low voltage installation experience Experience in commercial construction, distribution centers, warehouses, hospitals, schools, or data center environments Experience pulling, dressing, and terminating network cabling Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings Knowledge of industry cabling standards and best practices Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments Must possess basic hand tools High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Fiber optic installation and termination experience Cable testing and certification experience OSHA 10 Certification (required before start) Experience working in active data center or mission-critical environments
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
