Cable Technician

We are seeking Entry-Level Cable Technicians to join our growing team supporting commercial structured cabling projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, want to learn a skilled trade, and are excited about building a long-term career in cabling, low voltage, and eventually security systems. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term placement. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day) Assist senior technicians in pulling voice and data cabling (CAT5, CAT6, conduit). Run, route, and label large volumes of structured cabling in commercial environments. Punch down and terminate cable on both ends following industry standards. Work on ladders and scissor lifts ; must be comfortable with heights. Learn troubleshooting techniques for low-voltage systems as you grow. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment. Interact with customers professionally and uphold a reputation for exceptional service. Required Skills & Attributes Experience or interest in cable installation , structured cabling, or general low‑voltage work. Basic understanding of

CAT5/CAT6

, punchdowns, and cabling tools (preferred but not required). Strong customer service skills —must remain professional in front of multiple customers every day. Comfortable with physical, hands‑on work and working at heights. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn from experienced technicians. Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging environments or difficult customer situations. Requirements OSHA 10 Certification (Required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work Ability to work on ladders, scissor lifts, and in commercial environments Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism Why Join?
