The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, finishing, and servicing low voltage systems, including coax/data, security, speaker, and camera systems in new construction homes. This is a 1099 role. Strong blue print experience and proficiency with hand and power tools to ensure accurate installations that meet industry standards. Duties Install low voltage wiring in new homes, under construction. Finish low voltage wiring in new homes, under construction. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete accurate installations and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including completion reports, inventory management, and invoicing. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and NEC regulations relevant to low voltage systems. Requirements Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role as a service technician. Including electrical, security, cable experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with speakers, camera, alarm systems, telecommunications equipment, and cabling techniques. Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as it pertains to low voltage installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in installation processes. Able to read and implement basic blue prints for accurate installations. Ability to work independently in a new construction environment. Valid driver's license Own tools and reliable full size work van/truck capable of carrying all necessary supplies, parts, and tools as needed.
