Successful candidates will be capable of performing base station and/or DC Power installation work activities in addition to providing guidance to installation team members. This position requires industry experience, leadership aptitude, and technical talent. Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma required. Some college or technical school is a plus. 3 or more years of relevant experience in the wireless, telecommunications or data communications fields is expected. Industry-recognized certifications and/or training would be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience in technical installation or cell site construction. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to read and interpret MOPs and electrical schematics. Knowledge of Ethernet and/or Fiber optic cabling, cable management, and termination required. Experience with base station installation, DC power, and RF cabling desirable. Leadership skills, communication skills, and proficiency with business computer applications. Valid driver's license and clean criminal record (must pass government background checks). Responsibilities Work independently to install power cabling, base station equipment, RF cabling, and associated hardware. Interpret design plans and follow project scope as provided by engineers or project managers. Meet all scheduling, construction, quality, and performance standards. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines from Perfect Wireless, OSHA, and carriers. Conduct installation testing such as power verification, cable sweep, and system testing. Maintain current certifications through industry training. Interface with project management, engineering, and operations staff. Use online project tools to manage tasks. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct. Work is typically on customer premises representing the carrier. Work Environment Most work is in Indiana, but some out-of-town or out-of-state travel is expected (typically a few days, home on weekends). Flexible schedule; may require work outside standard business hours based on project needs.
