The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of cabling systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with different networking technologies. As a Cable Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients have reliable connectivity and communication systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair cabling systems including Ethernet and fiber optics. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical connections and ensure proper functionality. Work with Cisco routers and other networking equipment to establish connections. Perform fiber splicing as needed for network installations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to cabling and connectivity. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding installation processes. Qualifications Proven experience in cabling, telecommunications, or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and skills related to installation processes. Familiarity with computer networking concepts and practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques in the field of cabling. Most be able to pass a drug test and background check.
