Cable Technician

• Glen Burnie Job DescriptionA client of Insight Global is looking for a Cable Technician to sit fully onsite in Baltimore, MD.Day to Day
• Install, test, and terminate copper and fiber cabling
• Support a 5-floor cabling project within a government building
• Work as part of a team to complete structured cabling tasks
• Follow site access, safety, and SEP-related procedures
• Document and verify cable runs and terminations as required

Compensation:

$15/hr to $21/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. • Experience testing and terminating copper and fiber cables
• Ability to work onsite
• Familiarity with structured cabling best practices
• Previous government or healthcare facility experience
• Experience working on multi-floor cabling projects
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in secure environments
