Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in cable production, is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cable Mill Technician to join their team. As a Cable Mill Technician, you will be an integral part of the production support team, ensuring quality standards are met and operational efficiency is maintained. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance, which will align successfully within the organization.

Shift:
Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm (overtime available on weekends if needed) What's the Job? Open and inspect finished reel packaging according to quality specifications and inspection standards Identify and segregate non-conforming reels, ensuring proper disposition and movement to rework lines Repack approved reels and release them to the Shipping department Operate forklifts to move reels, pallets, and materials safely and efficiently Perform minor corrective actions and rework activities on non-conforming reels, including adjustments and simple repairs What's Needed? Basic computer skills for updating control spreadsheets and quality records Forklift operation experience or ability to learn quickly Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies Strong communication skills for reporting and team collaboration What's in it for me?
