Overview We are seeking motivated 1099 low voltage technicians who thrive in dynamic field environments. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low voltage systems including networking, security, and telecommunication infrastructure. Responsibilities Install and troubleshoot low voltage systems such as CCTV cameras, fiber optic cabling, Ethernet networks, and telephony equipment Perform fiber splicing and cable terminations using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal connectivity Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for proper system installation Conduct network installation tasks Perform routine equipment repairs and maintenance in data centers or client sites Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards during installations Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and addressing client questions professionally Skills Experience using scissor lift Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, fiber splicing, Ethernet cabling (Cat5, Cat6), and telecommunication wiring Experience with network installation including Cisco routers, Juniper devices, VoIP systems, and LAN configurations Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment Familiarity with computer hardware setup and troubleshooting in IT or data center environments Solid understanding of NEC electrical standards and low voltage wiring practices Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving Join us as a 1099 low voltage technician to be part of a forward-thinking team that values your expertise!
