Low Voltage Site Lead with Verkada Experience

About Stone Systems Stone Systems is a commercial low-voltage contractor serving Charlotte and Raleigh, NC, as well as projects through SC and VA. Our work is focused on Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intrusion Detection systems, along with Networks, AV, and Fiber Optic infrastructure. We are a growing company seeking a reliable, experienced Low-Voltage Site Lead with Verkada skill to lead a long-term site, delegating and working alongside junior techs. _ Position Overview We are in need of a Lead Technician who knows the Verkada system to handle the installation of a series of important commercial projects using this brand. This is a hands-on leadership role for a technician who can both produce quality work and lead others effectively. Based from our Charlotte operation, you will work directly with the General Manager to run active job sites, coordinate field labor, solve day-to-day issues, and maintain progress without constant oversight. We are looking for someone who naturally takes initiative, communicates clearly, and keeps work moving. Strong performance in this role will have a direct impact on company growth and lead to continued hire.

_ Schedule / TravelTypical hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Minimal overtime Work primarily in the Charlotte area _ Responsibilities Lead installations of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, Network, and Low-Voltage systems. Work hands-on while directing junior technicians on active job sites. Assign daily priorities and keep crews productive. Read plans, drawings, and job scopes to guide field execution. Make sound site decisions to prevent delays and maintain progress. Coordinate with general contractors, property managers, and customers. Perform Low-Voltage installs, troubleshooting, service work and repairs. Ensure organized wiring, proper labeling, clean finishes, and punch-list completion. Track progress, communicate issues early, and report material needs. Proven ability to lead technicians or crews in the field. Ability to work independently and make practical site decisions. Experience troubleshooting and servicing electronic security systems. Professional communication skills with customers and contractors.
