Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Low Voltage Technician for immediate hire in the Reno, NV area. Join a growing project with steady, long-term opportunity and consistent hours—great chance to get in with a company offering temp-to-perm potential!
    PAY:
    $30 - 45/hour (based upon experience)
      HOURS:
      Expected shifts will be 8-hour days starting at 7:00 AM
        SCHEDULE
        Monday-Friday; approximately 40+ hours/week
          START DATE

            This is anticipated to be a temp-to-hire position
            Low Voltage Technician Job Description:
            The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for running cable in primarily residential environments, with some commercial work as needed. This role involves installing and terminating low-voltage systems including AV equipment and security cameras. Candidates should be comfortable working in various job site conditions such as attics, crawlspaces, and finished residential spaces. Qualifications for
            Low Voltage Technician:
            • Experience running low-voltage cabling in residential settings
            • Experience mounting cameras and installing AV equipment preferred
            • Familiarity with terminating coax, data, and speaker wire
            • Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, punch down tools, crimpers, and testers
            • Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
            • Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

            Low Voltage Technician:
            • Must be eligible to work in the United States
            • Must have reliable transportation to job sites in the Reno area
            • PPE and tools required (including but not limited to hand tools, wire strippers, punch down tools, flashlight, etc.
