  • Part-time Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team.
This vital role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance and security for our clients. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will work on diverse projects that enhance communication, security, and data infrastructure across various facilities. Duties Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including IP surveillance, VoIP, and other ethernet networks Perform Cat5/6 splicing and cable management using hand tools and power tools to ensure secure and efficient wiring infrastructure. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver timely solutions for clients' low voltage systems. Install and configure network equipment such as Unifi switches, VoIP Phones, and NVRs. Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and ensuring satisfaction with installed solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including system configurations, test results, and service reports. Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Service Technician within the telecommunications or IT industry. Ability to use hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers) and power tools safely and effectively during installation tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Must have some experience troubleshooting routers, printers, and Windows computers.
